How to open and close ballots individually

How to open and close ballots individually

In the previous article, we saw how to conduct a vote by simultaneously opening and closing all the ballots in an Election Event. In this article, however, we will see how to separately open and close the ballots in the same Election Event.

After the ballot setup is completed and credentials are submitted, you can open one of the ballots.
To do so, just click on  placed to the right of the ballot.

PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU CLICK THE BUTTONS IN THE EVENT BOX, ALL THE TABS WILL OPEN AT THE SAME TIME

At this point the system will ask for confirmation about opening the ballot. If you wish to proceed, click on confirm, otherwise, click on cancel to go back.

After this operation, open ballots will be in progress, while those in preparation can be opened at any time. The conduct of voting, therefore, may happen in different moments for each ballot.

For closing and suspending, the same process will be followed:

-Click on ;
-Select "Suspend vote" or "Close vote."
-Confirm the operation.

PLEASE NOTE: CLICKING THE BUTTONS IN THE EVENT BOX WILL CLOSE ALL THE TABS AT THE SAME TIME AND YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO OPEN THE TABS THAT ARE NOT YET OPEN

Last, single closed ballots can be counted at any time, even if there are some ballots still being cast:
